Location: Lifelong Learning Institute

Time: 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Learn how to communicate your company’s CSR story and showcase your Impact effectively.
About this Event
Increasingly, companies want to become socially responsible. Many develop corporate social responsibility programmes to create social impact for the communities as well as increase employee engagement and volunteer participation. To showcase the good work they are doing, companies need to illustrate and communicate their CSR Impact Story, the value of their unique corporate citizenship efforts, to the various internal and external stakeholders including management, employees and the community. This will help define the importance of their CSR activities and ensure continuous support.

The workshop will look at various ways international and local companies are storytelling their impact and introduce basic concepts on the building blocks for an outcome framework that will enable companies to tell that story.

Learning Outcomes:

● Learn the diverse ways that companies around the world engage in social causes to be socially responsible (eg setting up corporate foundation, conducting philanthropy, employees volunteering)

● Learn the different motivations of internal and external stakeholders

● Understand the considerations needed when developing the social responsibility programmes

● Understand the qualitative and quantitative ways that companies can measure outcomes/impact of their CSR programmes for the companies and the communities they work with

● Be introduced to some existing international frameworks that companies use for reporting impact

● Learn the different ways companies around the world communicate and storytell their CSR programmes to transmit corporate values, showcase their impact as well as connect with their clients and employees
