I joined Soristic as an Associate Consultant in May
after having spent 13 years in the Banking industry advising clients on their
corporate banking requirements. In my banking career, I had a chance to work in
Indonesia and Malaysia.
It allowed me to experience different cultures and
traditions but also exposed me to the socio-economic challenges faced in
countries with much larger and diverse population.
This has piqued my interest in social sector issues
and the opportunity with Soristic is something I deeply value to allow me to
gain valuable insights and contribute in my small way to the ecosystem to
improve lives and empower those in need in Singapore and the region.
In the short time since I joined in May, I have
been involved in several impact assessments and moderated a workshop for
Soristic’s “In Their Shoes” simulation exercise. It has been eye-opening, and I
look forward to learn much more with Soristic.
