Changemakers Networking Sessions

Doing social impact work in Singapore can be isolating. Many of us manage these initiatives alongside full-time jobs, family responsibilities, and everyday commitments. It requires significant time and energy, which is why finding a community of people who understand the landscape is invaluable.

We started the Changemakers Networking Sessions with a clear goal: to bring together professionals and volunteers to build a supportive network within the local social impact sector.

These sessions provide a straightforward space for honest discussion. Attendees share practical resources and referrals but also talk openly about the operational challenges they face. For impact-driven individuals, it serves as a practical environment to connect, exchange ideas, and explore real ways to support one another’s work. The willingness of participants to share their insights and networks has underscored the tangible value of collaboration.

The feedback from our attendees highlights the necessity of these spaces. Ricky FM Law (羅富銘) from Sunshine Seniors shared his perspective after attending a recent session:

“It expands my knowledge, reach, and horizon. Without this opportunity, I would not know so much beyond my limited exposure. You are all kind-hearted people. Glad to see kindness exists while the world is becoming more transactional and focusing on self-interest.”

Perspectives like Ricky’s validate the purpose of these gatherings. We are glad to facilitate these connections and intend to host more sessions regularly.

If you want to expand your network, collaborate on upcoming projects, or connect with peers in the sector, we welcome you to join us.
