🎼 Meet our SG60 Changemaker: William Ang 🎼
At 74, William Ang is proving that life’s encore can be the most inspiring act of all. What began as a spontaneous duet between two seniors – William on the recorder and 85-year-old Lily Boon on the keyboard – has grown into Silver Singalong, a joyful community of over 100 seniors who bring live music to hospitals, hospices and public spaces across Singapore.
Since 2023, they’ve performed more than 200 times – often unpaid, always from the heart. Their songs lift spirits, spark memories and remind everyone that age is not a limitation but a rhythm of its own.
As William says with a smile, “We’re not youthless – just full of life, and full of song.” 🎶✨
