In Singapore, about 1 in 10 of us earn less than S$1,250 a month. That also means that they are unable to meet basic needs, and these people live among us.
During the 90-minute webinar, Soristic presented our groundwork findings done by our volunteers to provide some insights to this burning question – is there really a gap in meeting basic needs in Singapore? If there is one, what has been done about it? What more can be done?
We were joined by Fion Phua, founder of Keeping Hope Alive 让希望活下去; Alson Boo, founder of Social Health Growth- SHG; Amos Liu, community outreach lead of OpenJio; and Goh Ann Tat who will be moderating the panel discussion.
